The New Client Form

One of the most important aspects to growing and retaining your member base is effectively implementing and utilizing a "New Client Form." A "New Client Form" allows you to make strategic decisions for your business and sets your clients and staff up for success.

• Sets the tone for the first class
• Illustrates your commitment to helping your community achieve their goals
• Educates new clients
• Gives you important information about new clients
• Gives you data that you can use for marketing, conversion tracking, demographic tracking, and more!

• If you don’t have a waiting area/front desk, you can still make this happen. Have your new client forms on a clipboard. Put up asign/sandwich board that says,“Welcome New Clients! Please be sure to fill out our “New Client Form” before leaving.
• If you don’t have the capacity to have clients fill out your form at the studio, you can create an easy digital form and send by text or email but be sure to require that they fill it out before taking their first class, and then use the form to follow up and find a time to connect.
• Be sure to have a staff meeting to get everyone on board with implementing the “New Client Form”
